SUSTAINABILITY
ACPT and ACP have integrated climate considerations into the development of our advanced processes that convert and recycle the carbon in slurry oil into low-cost mesophase pitch with very low emissions. Traditionally, slurry oil from refinery fluid catalytic crackers is sold as bunker fuel to container ships, where it is burned and emits carbon dioxide and sulfur into the environment.
