OUR PROJECTS
ACPT is currently focused on lightweighting combat vehicles, dissipating heat from electronic components, minimizing thermal signatures, and improving the domestic production capabilities of lithium ion batteries and fuel cells.
LIGHTWEIGHTING MILITARY VEHICLES
Weight-reduction in military and commercial vehicles is needed to improve fuel efficiency, performance and reduce, unsprung weight to the suspension system. One of ACP Technologies' current projects is to utilize low-cost carbon fiber technologies to meet the strength and durability needs of military and industrial wheel, seat, and body applications.
HEAT
DISSIPATION
ACP Technologies is utilizing mesophase pitch-based carbon fiber composites and graphitic foams to create higher-performing, more efficient, lighter-weight options to dissipate heat from electronic equipment and devices to better enable and protect our warfighters. Current projects include heat dissipation boards and heat sinks for use in military vehicles.
SIGNATURE
REDUCTION
ACP Technologies is utilizing carbonized and graphitized foams to create signal reduction and thermal management solutions to increase performance and survivability with lightweight and durable components to better protect our soldiers.
